Voting is underway in Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Connecticut and Maryland.
According to the latest polls Businessman turned politician Donald Trump is leading by a significant margin in all states and looks on course to receive a large share of the popular vote.
As soon as the first exit polls and results are available they will be published here.
